Community Outreach

At Mason Lodge No. 149, our commitment to our community is at the heart of what we do.

We believe in making a tangible difference in the lives of those around us.

Each month, Lodge No. 149 selects a different local charity to support, ranging from organizations like the Marine Science Center, Tool Share, to God’s Bath House.

Moreover, we proudly contribute to the education of our future leaders by awarding three scholarships annually to deserving graduating seniors. At New Smyrna High School, we honor Melissa Bassett’s memory through the Melissa Bassett Memorial Scholarship, a $2000 grant. At Spruce Creek High School, we present the Thomas Worrell Scholarship, also valued at $2000. Additionally, the New Smyrna Masonic Lodge Scholarship, also worth $2000, is awarded to either New Smyrna High School or Spruce Creek High School, supporting students in pursuit of higher education.

Furthermore, we stand alongside the Masonic charities of the Grand Lodge of Florida, extending our reach to contribute to causes that align with our values and principles.
